Danny McNamara made a vital interception to deny Hull the chance of a second goal, he intercepted Honeyman’s ball towards Greaves and cleared it away.
That interception was even more vital as just before the break Millwall levelled. Benik Afobe’s ball found Bradshaw who confidently finished well into the bottom corner.
The hosts were back in front on 53 minutes, poor defending from the Lions as they failed to clear their lines, the ball enetually being tapped in by Longman from no more than four yards from goal.
Millwall should have been level on 61 minutes, the ball coming to Afobe he fizzed the ball across the face of goal but again there was a covering defender. Five minutes later, McNamara was denied by Baxter after being played through by Saville.
The Lions battered the home goal towards the end but they couldn’t find the leveller.
