Millwall unlikely to add further attackers in this window
Gary Rowett has given a strong hint that Millwall will not add to their attacking options in this transfer window.
The Lions secured an extension to Kenneth Zohore’s loan deal on Tuesday and when speaking to NewsAtDen, Rowett appeared to suggest there will be no further attacking additions, when asked if business in that department was finished.
“I think so, said Rowett.
Millwall brought Zohore in from West Brom in the summer transfer window but along with Troy Parrott has seen his loan spell blighted with injury.
“We’re pleased to have secured Ken for the season. The concern is taking someone until January, if you get a good player, because then you could be losing an influential player at the wrong time of the season.
Zohore has started four times for Millwall since his arrival, scoring on two of those starts, against Preston in October and and against Boreham Wood in the FA Cup.
“I certainly think being able to keep Ken for a little bit longer is really good for us.
“Hopefully now what we can see is a fit Ken Zohore affecting games. It was something that we hoped we would be able to do.”
